Conflict Minerals Policy

To achieve responsible and sustainable procurement, TA-I Technology has established a Conflict Minerals Policy and a Responsible Mineral Procurement Management Process. We commit to ensuring that mineral sourcing complies with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. Furthermore, due diligence is conducted on suppliers to verify that their smelters and refiners meet responsible sourcing standards, prohibiting the use of conflict minerals from high-risk areas.

TA-I Technology aligns with the survey results of the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) and requires suppliers to formulate conflict mineral management policies to ensure that minerals such as gold, tantalum, tungsten, tin, cobalt, and mica originate from sources compliant with OECD requirements or are certified as conflict-free. Annually, the smelter list is re-evaluated based on RBA official standards, and systematic management is maintained via supplier questionnaires. Suppliers are required to sign a Non-Conflict Minerals Declaration to guarantee compliant sourcing from non-conflict regions. Under the management protocol, if a supplier unnecessarily uses conflict minerals, procurement must cease immediately, and proof must be submitted demonstrating that alternative mineral sources fulfill compliance requirements.
