Sustainable Supply Chain Management

UN Sustainable Development Goal 8UN Sustainable Development Goal 12UN Sustainable Development Goal 17

Governance Structure & Policy Commitments

Responsible Units (Governance)

Board Oversight: The Board of Directors holds ultimate supervisory responsibility for supply chain management, working through the RBA Implementation Committee under the Sustainability Development Committee to regularly review supply chain strategies and risk controls.
CDP External Ratings: Starting in 2025, CDP questionnaire disclosures were introduced (Climate Change: B / Water Security: B-), with external feedback integrated into annual reviews to continuously enhance supply chain governance.

Policy Commitments (Strategy)

Compliance & Tiered Management: Adhere to RBA guidelines and international regulations by executing tiered management and periodic evaluations per internal procedures, tracking non-compliant suppliers for corrective action to accelerate supply chain sustainability.
Green & Responsible Procurement: Proactively eliminate high-risk substances during R&D to maintain product compliance with IECQ QC 080000, RoHS, and REACH; embed ESG criteria into supplier selection while encouraging vendors to conduct energy audits and GHG inventories.

Impact Assessment (Risk Management)

Negative Impact (Risk)

International geopolitical and macroeconomic volatility can trigger raw material price fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
Failure by suppliers to concurrently elevate ESG management performance may spill over to damage corporate brand equity, corporate image, and customer trust.

Positive Impact (Opportunity)

Tiered supplier management enables early identification and mitigation of material shortage risks.
Driving supplier carbon reduction not only facilitates progress toward Scope 3 emission targets, but also sharpens product competitiveness and strengthens advantages in securing international orders.

Note 1: Target recipients are qualified suppliers with active transactions with TA-I Technology in 2025.

Note 2: Target recipients are qualified suppliers with higher environmental and social impacts across three main categories: raw materials, outsourced processing, and services.

Note 3: Statistics apply to suppliers that completed the "Supplier Social Responsibility Assessment Form" and have conducted Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emission inventories.

Ensuring Action Effectiveness

TA-I Technology conducts documentary reviews or on-site audits and evaluations prior to onboarding new suppliers, requiring them to sign the Code of Conduct Commitment and the Conflict-Free Minerals Commitment, along with issuing evaluation forms.

Three-Tier Management Checkpoints for Existing Suppliers

  1. Commitment Signing: Comprehensive renewal of the Code of Conduct Commitment.
  2. Questionnaire Self-Assessment: Social Responsibility Management Evaluation.
  3. On-Site Audits: Execution of on-site audits and improvement tracking targeting major and high-risk suppliers.

Stakeholder Engagement

In 2025, TA-I Technology communicated sustainability policies and management expectations to partners during the Supplier Conference. Concurrently, the company conducted the "Supplier Social Responsibility Management Survey" to gain insight into the current status of environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and labor conditions.

Diversified Communication Channels

Maintain routine and real-time communication and feedback with suppliers through on-site visits, email, telephone, and official website contact sections.
